Thaden Field (VBT)
A jumping off point for adventure, the portal to backcountry, a basecamp: Thaden Field (airport identifier VBT) is the new hub for air travel through the midwest and ozarks. Complete with flight school, exhibition hangar, fuel stations, provisions, bikes, canoes, and an all day café, Thaden Field was voted last year's Airport of the Year. We built an identity system that spoke to both the considered modern architectural aesthetic of the Fieldhouse while still acknowledging the rugged nature of light aircraft travel through the Ozark backcountry.
